Beijing – where emperors once ruled and the Great Wall snakes across misty mountains like a sleeping dragon. From Tian'anmen Square's vast expanse to the Forbidden City's gilded halls, from the Temple of Heaven's circular altars to the Summer Palace's tranquil pavilions—every corner holds a story. Rickshaws carry you through hutong alleyways, past courtyard homes and ancient sycamores, while a toast of red wine on the Great Wall seals the memory of imperial grandeur.

Xi'an – where terracotta warriors stand eternal guard over a silent empire, and Tang dynasty melodies mingle with the aroma of steaming dumplings. Walk atop the ancient city walls, shape a clay warrior with your own hands at a farmer's home, and lose yourself in the vibrant chaos of the Muslim Quarter—where spices and Silk Road echoes still linger in the air.

Chongqing – where mountains climb upon mountains, and a light rail glides through a residential tower like a silver serpent. Hongya Cave clings to cliffs in a cascade of lantern-lit stilt houses, overlooking the confluence of two mighty rivers. Here you board your Yangtze cruise—a floating palace where buffet feasts and the captain's welcome toast mark the start of a watery odyssey.

Yangtze – where the great river carves through ancient stone, and mist-shrouded gorges unfold in solemn procession. Fengdu's ghostly temples rise from the shore with tales of the underworld, while Qutang's sheer cliffs, Wu's ethereal peaks, and Xiling's rushing waters pass like a living scroll. The tranquil Goddess Stream beckons you ashore, and evenings bring epic battles to life beneath star-scattered skies—each bend a new verse in China's timeless poem of water and rock.

Yichang – where the mighty Yangtze meets concrete and steel, and the colossal Three Gorges Dam stands as a monument to human ambition—a grey wall against green mountains, taming the ancient current that once carved these gorges. After bidding farewell to your floating home, trade water for rails and speed eastward through six hours of farmland and factory towns, watching China's changing heart scroll past the window.

Shanghai – where the Bund's colonial promenades gaze across the Huangpu at Pudong's futuristic spires—two worlds in perpetual dialogue. From ancient jades at the museum to the tranquil pavilions of Yu Garden, from bustling bazaars to a sunset river cruise, this is a city where old and new dance together in neon light, and where your journey finds its glittering finale.

Beijing

China's imperial heart and modern capital

Beijing
China's imperial heart and modern capital
A city defined by profound scale and symbolism, it is anchored by the Forbidden City—a vast, timeless palace complex at its core—and guarded by the distant Great Wall. Here, the rigid geometry of imperial boulevards and austere government buildings meets the dynamic curves of cutting-edge Olympic architecture. It's a place of solemn tradition and assertive modernity, where the scent of roasting duck wafts from ancient hutong alleys, and the pulse of political and cultural power is felt on every grand, cardinal-direction street.

Xi’an

China's ancient gateway and enduring citadel

Xi’an
China's ancient gateway and enduring citadel
Once the starting point of the Silk Road, this former capital is encased within magnificent, walkable city walls. Beneath its modern streets lies a profound sense of antiquity, most famously in the vast underground legion of life-sized clay warriors. The atmosphere is one of dusty grandeur, where the echo of camel caravans blends with the aroma of sizzling Muslim Quarter street food and the solemn chants from ancient pagodas, offering a visceral journey back to the zenith of China's early empires.

Shanghai

Where East meets West at a breathtaking pace

Shanghai
Where East meets West at a breathtaking pace
Think New York's skyline meets Parisian boulevards, all layered with a uniquely Chinese energy. You'll find colonial architecture along the Huangpu River that feels strangely familiar, standing directly opposite a forest of sci-fi skyscrapers. It's a city of intense contrasts: serene ancient gardens a stone's throw from neon-lit shopping malls, bustling street food stalls next to Michelin-starred restaurants, and a relentless, forward-driving momentum that makes it feel like the capital of the 21st century. It’s overwhelming, exhilarating, and utterly unforgettable.
